Can you help Rocco & Chloe with overcoming thier grief? -- Monday August 12th, 2019

Rocco & Chloe are happy to get a second chance after being totally let down by their previous life long guardians. They are both extremely well trained and friendly dogs however they are still grieving the loses of their precious lives.

Chloe (white) is a two year old spayed female who’s human daddy past away and her grief was just to much for her family to tolerate so she was dumped in a high kill facility to endure even more stress and grieve alone. And worst yet face certain death herself.

Rocco (blk&wh) is a 7 year old neutered male who was abandoned outside a facility overnight left only with a new collar and his food bowls.

Both dogs have known love and are confused, bewildered and still waiting for their past people to collect them. Unfortunately that option is not in the cards.

If you have a huge heart, compassion, empathy and are looking to help these dogs get through this trying time please contact us for more information on providing a loving forever home for Rocco and Chloe.

It's that time of year again... -- Friday July 26th, 2019

Learning 2 Lead with OLHARS -- Tuesday April 19th, 2016

The kids from Learning 2 Lead put smiles on a couple of adoptable rescue pups from Our Last Hope Animal Rescue Society in Memorial Park and in the Adoption Centre. These are great students who learned a little about giving comfort and socializing dogs in a safe manner. It was a great experience for everyone and gave the students a taste of what the Rescue volunteers do every day.

Here is the blurb from their page:

Community volunteer experiences:  Each group plans a monthly community volunteer experience, which usually takes place after school hours. Volunteer experiences may include working with animal rescue organizations, community clean-ups and spending time with other members of our Chilliwack community.

2015 Christmas Challenge -- Friday December 4th, 2015

THE COSTS OF SUCCESS -- Wednesday January 21st, 2015

Thanks to our many wonderful supporters and friends, we are growing. With that growth, come new needs and new challenges. We like to think of it as growing pains. Necessary but with a great payoff: We save more lives!

NEW YEAR, NEW CHALLENGES, NEW WISH LIST

HEALTHCARE COSTS We have a few things on our Wish List -- naturally, we need your help, if you can pitch in. All our rescues translate into more vet bills -- right now, we have a wonderful dog, Toby, a two-year old surrender who requires weekly visits to the vet as well as costly meds to help him with his skin problems which were the result of neglect. Our vet bill is now in the thousands and we need some serious help with that.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS COUNT - One of the costs in rescue is grooming and bathing. Instead of having to pay to have this done, we would love to purchase a bathing/grooming station so that our volunteers can make all of our rescues as pretty and as adoptable as possible. We have found one that would be just perfect for our Adoption Centre -- but it costs around a thousand dollars. It would save us thousands and thousands of dollars in groomer fees and truly pay for itself in a very short time. But we need help to acquire this tool of the trade.

CAN YOU HELP? Any donation will be greatly appreciated. It all adds up to help us keep helping those who cannot help themselves. Once again, a million thank yous to all of you for your support. We absolutely couldn't do it without you!
