JW came to us as a scared, displaced, 2 yrs. old, owner surrender from an over populated shelter. JW notes indicated his previous family had not spent much valuable time with him; he was most likely tied up and left alone often and as such began to escape his back yard to seek love and attention. He is an aloof guy by nature but once he bonds with you he is yours forever. JW is house and kennel trained, neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. We are recommending that JW find a nice, calm, patient family of 1 or 2 adults that will understand his back ground and give him the security and confidence to overcome his past. He would do best with and active family as exercise will help him adjust to a new life as a house dog more easily. JW requires and seeks affection but he must be allowed to decompress in his own way and at his own speed. He is a gentle boy, approx. 50 lbs. who is eager to please. He loves to go for car rides, walks well on the leash, is a great jogging partner and is currently learning to run with the bike. He's very eager to learn and is having fun doing so! JW is a boy who continues to thrive and surprises us every day. He's a good boy! JW is currently waiting in foster care, he has competed he's board and train and is now confident enough to start enjoying life as a dog! His trainer really likes him and so do we!
