My name is Socks and I am a Dachshund X approx. 1 yrs. old. I am a very sweet affectionate boy who adores children. I am approx... 15 lbs. I like bigger dogs but big can be a bit bossy with friends smaller than me. I dont mind cats if they dont mind me! I was rescued from a bad place where they didnt look after me like they should have. I am grateful that I have come into rescue where I am getting what I need and am safe. I am a happy boy and enjoy lots of cuddles and kisses. I am house and crate trained already and am neutered. I am up to date with my vaccination and ready to being the rest of his life! A suitable home for me will include a fenced yard and a family who has previous experience with rescue dogs who will allow me time to adjust to my new surroundings on my own terms.
